About Me

My Story

11225268_10102281144894894_7256129339924133720_n.jpg

Throughout my life, I’ve approached every challenge with enthusiasm, creativity, and ceaseless desire to achieve success. This passion and drive have paved the way to countless opportunities, unique experiences and exceptional relationships both personally and professionally. If you’re interested in learning more about me feel free to reach out.

I was born in Nashau, NH and moved to Naples, FL at a very young age. I was always into sports and anything that included the outdoors. My real love for computers did not develop until around the age of 12 when my father and I built our first desktop tower together. My fascination grew and from that moment forward I knew that my calling would be in the Technology sector.

I moved to Tallahassee in 2006 after graduating high school to pursue a degree in Information Technology. Upon moving to Tallahassee at the age of 18, I went to school full time and worked part time with the financial support that my parents were providing. That role flipped in 2008 when my father was laid off due to the recession. I drastically had to reduce my class workload and increase my hours at my job. This taught me a valuable lesson in life, "if everything was easily handed to you, then what would determine success". I persevered, completed my Associate's and was accepted to Florida State University in the Fall of 2016. I am in the last stages of completing my IT degree while working full time and can taste victory!

Network Administration Buildout

Produced a multi-level network diagram and business proposal for a profitable organization in which a budget, list of materials, network diagram, and network administration policies where procured and presented to a class of 30 colleagues
and instructors.

Web Proxy Content-Filtering Service

Worked with a team of five to configure a virtual server on the FSU network to implement a web proxy content-filtering service in which all incoming and outgoing traffic was filtered, cached, and forwarded using a program called Squid.  This program increased throughput on the FSU network while also providing additional security when configured. This server was apart of a domain of seven other servers in which each server's incoming and outgoing content was filtered
through the configured server utilizing Squid.
